Lights, Camera, Action
Groove to the beat and move your feet! This camp will feature songs and choreography from your favorite movies. Your dancer will love moving and exploring new steps in this amazingly active camp.
All That Jazz
It's time to move to the music! You and your dancer will be amazed with what they will be able to learn and perform this week as they explore Jazz. Jazz dance is the most commercial of the dance genres. You see it everywhere from the Broadway stage to TV commercials to high school theater productions!
Dancapalooza!
Immerse yourself in the world of dance! Dancers will learn Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary techniques & choreography. This week will be enhanced with creative projects and activities.
Popstars & Pizzazz
Does your dancer have PIZZAZZ?? Let your creativity soar while we create a music video together! With age-appropriate Pop songs that they’re sure to love, this week will be filled with all the stuff that STARS are made of!!

For the more advanced dancer who wants to sharpen their skills and improve their technique by studying with our amazing list of guest artists. Our MASDI students are involved in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop each day. Providing a wide range of movement study allows the MASDI dancers to truly build on being a well rounded dancer.

Derrick A. Evans, originally from St.Thomas, U.S.V.I., began dancing with the Ballet Theatre of the Virgin Islands. He received a BFA in dance at Western Michigan University where he was named a Presidential Scholar. Derrick's performance credits include Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago (Rehearsal Director), Michael Jackson HBO Special and History, River North Chicago Dance Company, Cecilia Marta Dance Company, Monte Carlo Sporting Club, Sweet Charity (Big Daddy and dance captain), and numerous industrials, shows and commercials. Derrick has assisted noted choreographers Gus Giordano, Maria Torres, and George Faison on restaging (Suite Otis), industrials (Pathmark, Paul Mitchell), commercials (JCPenny, Heineken), recording artists (Enrique Iglesias, Lou Bega), and musicals (Four Guys Named Jose). Choreography credits include Reichold Center's Play Ring: Tea Meeting, 7th European Youth Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, Motion Mania Dance Company, Soles of Feet Dance Company, University of Kentucky, Giordano Chicago Dance Company, River North Chicago Dance Company, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Ltd, Sweeney Todd, and numerous other projects. He has been on faculty at Broadway Dance Center NYC and Tokyo, StepsNYC, Gus Giordano Dance Center, St. Thomas School of Dance, VIIPA, Dancing Classrooms VI, Monthey Dance Center, Virginia School of the Arts, MASDI, and Western Michigan University. In 2006, Western Michigan University named Evans the Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
Kesha Milenkovic is originally from Gaithersburg Maryland. She started dancing at the age of nine at Motion Mania Dance Center. For many summers she attended Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive, Bates Dance Festival and many more. She performed at the Kennedy Center under the direction of Debbie Allen in two productions called "Dreams & Pearl". Kesha graduated from Columbia College Chicago with Bachelor of Arts in Dance. After graduation, Kesha got a scholarship at Gus Giordano Dance school and was accepted into Gus Giordano second company. In 2010 Kesha was cast as a dancer/vocalist for the Broadway musical Chicago on the largest cruise ship in the world "Allure of The Seas". She is now on faculty at North Shore School of Dance in Highland Park IL and also Artistic Director to North Shore Repertoire Dance Ensemble. Kesha has always been passionate about performing and she now wants to expand her knowledge and start teaching/choreographing.
